Since 1983, T.R.S. Industries has been a family-owned leader in custom tarps, boat covers, and industrial solutions. Started in Roger Cossette’s garage, the company grew as family members joined, expanding both expertise and capabilities.
Today, our Fargo, ND facility spans 69,000 square feet, allowing us to manufacture custom covers, stock a wide selection of replacement tarps, and perform professional repairs and installations all under one roof. From large commercial trailers to specialized marine applications, our in-house production ensures quality, durability, and precision on every project.

At T.R.S. Industries, our team is the heart of everything we do. Many of our dedicated team members have been with us for decades, bringing unmatched experience, loyalty, and a deep understanding of our products and customers.
From our founders who started it all in 1983 to the skilled professionals who craft, repair, and customize every tarp and cover today, each person contributes their expertise and passion to ensure every product we deliver is built to last.
Shane Cossette
President
Shane has been with T.R.S. Industries since 1985, gaining experience across every area of production. He has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2010. An avid sports fan (particularly of the Minnesota Vikings, as his office proudly shows) Shane also enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Bob Cossette
Vice President
Bob joined T.R.S. Industries in June 1992 and has worked in multiple departments throughout the company. He is now the head of purchasing and inventory, ensuring the company always has what it needs. Outside of work, Bob enjoys spending time with his kids and attending local (and not-so-local) car shows.
Stacy Davis
Chief Financial Officer
Stacy has been with T.R.S. Industries since August 2015, assisting Joy in the accounting department. On her weekends off, she enjoys time at the lake with her family, indulges her wanderlust, and spoils her beloved kitties.
Brandon Cossette
Chief Marketing Officer - Custom Sales Specialist
Brandon has been with T.R.S. Industries since June 2007, gaining experience in every area of manufacturing. He is now the Custom Sales Specialist and also manages sales and scheduling for our Fitted Covers Department. Known around T.R.S. as the “Comeback and Prank Specialist”, Brandon, like the rest of the team, hopes to see the Minnesota Vikings win a Super Bowl.
Patti Hansen
Human Resources Manager
Patti joined T.R.S. Industries in January 2024 as our HR Manager, bringing 20 years of experience to the role. When she’s not managing HR tasks, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. A dedicated Minnesota Vikings fan, Patti has an impressive collection of signed memorabilia, including a Legacy Brick at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Audrey Lura
Hopper Tarp Sales / Canopy Sales
Audrey joined T.R.S. Industries in 2007, starting as our receptionist and now leading Hopper Tarp and Boat Lift Canopy sales. On the clock, she’s a scripturient mocha coffee enthusiast; off the clock, she transforms into a part-time woodland elf, exploring hidden trails and the great outdoors.
Aaron Christiansen
Production Manager / Flatbed Tarp Specialist
Aaron joined T.R.S. Industries in December 1997 and has experience in every area of production. He brings extensive knowledge of tarps for all flatbed trailer applications. A dedicated sports fan, Aaron never misses a Patriots game or any of his kids’ activities.
David Vaughn
Service Manager & Tech Support
David has been with T.R.S. Industries since 2008, primarily working in the Installation Shop. He manages the crew and workload while also assisting with tech support for various trailer systems. Known as the “best unprofessional professional” around, David enjoys hunting, fishing, and making the most of every day.
Scot Heinze
Parts Manager and Shipping
Scot has been with T.R.S. Industries since June 2011. He manages all parts for our roll tarp systems and motors, as well as overseeing the entire shipping department. A true enthusiast, Scot is a zythophile, a devoted Minnesota sports fan, and a rock music aficionado.
Steph Hohertz
Fitted Cover Specialist/Upholstery Specialist
Steph has been with T.R.S. Industries since May 2002. She has experience in every area of manufacturing and is now the primary sewer of our custom boat and pontoon covers. During the winter months, she also works on upholstery recovery projects. When she’s not creating our high-quality covers, Steph enjoys hunting for antiques, exploring off-the-beaten-path locations, and spending time with her furry companions.
Joy Cossette
Retired
Joy had been with T.R.S. Industries since its founding in 1983. After 40 years of dedication and hard work, she transitioned into retirement in December 2023. Known for her legendary gluten-free cookies, Joy takes pride in baking the best treats in the company.

Rich Cossette
Retired
Rich had been with T.R.S. Industries since its founding in 1983, retiring in December 2023 after decades of dedication. You’ll often find him cruising in his classic cars or out on the lake. Chances are he’s out-fishing you!
