Supreme Roll Tarp Systems

Engineered for Extreme Durability and Easy Maintenance

Investing in a reliable tarp system is about more than just covering a load; it is about protecting your bottom line. Whether you are hauling grain across the Midwest or transporting aggregate to a job site, your equipment faces constant friction, UV exposure, and fluctuating temperatures. We have combined our most advanced technologies, the Supreme and Supreme Clean lines, into a single, high-performance solution designed to outlast and outperform standard polyester covers.

At T.R.S. Industries, we manufacture heavy-duty tarps that prioritize longevity. By utilizing 18 oz. nylon instead of the commonly used polyester base fabrics, our roll tarp systems offer superior elasticity. This structural difference is critical during winter months when polyester becomes brittle. Many customers report lifespans of three to five years, with well-maintained systems lasting longer.

Uses and Features

Advanced Features and Agricultural Applications

Our agricultural tarps are built to withstand the rigors of the farm. We understand that downtime during harvest is not an option, which is why every Supreme system is engineered for structural integrity and ease of use.

  • Premium Nylon Construction

Our 18 oz. nylon base fabric provides better stretch in cold weather, reducing the risk of cold-weather cracking associated with lower-grade materials.

  • Standardized Support

Every tarp comes standard with half-webbing on both ends. This reinforcement provides essential support without the "add-on" fees found elsewhere.

  • Supreme EZ Off System

Time is money. Our EZ Off tarp stops allow for the rapid removal of the entire system, making maintenance or trailer transitions seamless.

  • Robust Hardware

Each system features arched end caps, steel arched bows, and a heavy-duty latch plate engineered for long-term durability. The adjustable crank and u-joint assembly ensures consistent tension, preventing the wind whip that destroys lesser fabrics.

Options and Styles

For operators concerned with aesthetics and biosecurity, our "Supreme Clean" fabric style is the professional choice. This specialized truck tarp material was developed in response to direct feedback from drivers who needed a solution for cross-contamination and difficult cleaning cycles.

The Supreme Clean Advantage

  • Dual-Sided Acrylic Coating

This coating creates a smooth surface that resists dirt build-up and seals in plasticizers, keeping the fabric supple for years.

  • Cross-Contamination Prevention

The slick surface allows for thorough rinsing, which is vital for trailers moving between different types of organic or chemical loads.

  • UV and Abrasion Resistance

Our high-performance PVC formulation provides a shield against sun damage and the constant scuffing of the tarp against the trailer bows.

  • Molecular Bonding

We use a specialized coating process designed to enhance adhesion between the PVC layer and the base fabric. This significantly minimizes the "wind whip" effect, which is a major contributor to fabric fatigue during highway transit.

Whether you prefer the rugged utility of the standard Supreme line or the low-maintenance benefits of the Supreme Clean, these replacement roll tarps are custom-manufactured in-house to ensure a perfect fit for your specific trailer dimensions.

Why is nylon better than polyester for heavy-duty tarps in cold weather?

Nylon possesses a higher moisture regain and superior elastic recovery compared to polyester, which allows it to maintain flexibility in sub-zero temperatures where polyester becomes brittle. According to technical data from the Faraday Institute and industrial textile standards, nylon fibers have a higher elongation-at-break percentage, meaning the fabric can stretch and "give" under wind loads or snow weight without cracking or tearing the PVC coating.

Can I upgrade my manual system to an electric roll tarp system for trucks?

Yes. While our Supreme hardware is designed for easy manual operation, it is fully compatible with most electric conversions. Upgrading to an electric system reduces operator strain and improves safety by keeping the driver on the ground.

How does the "Supreme Clean" coating prevent fabric degradation?

The acrylic coating acts as a barrier that prevents "plasticizer migration." In standard PVC tarps, the oils that keep the fabric flexible can leach out over time, leaving the tarp stiff and prone to cracking. The Supreme Clean coating seals these oils in.
