Triple-Sewn D-Rings

Every D-ring on our lumber tarps is sewn over three times to promote the handling of the high tension required for load securement without tearing away from the fabric.

High-Performance Materials

We use Shelter-Rite and Shelter-Lite vinyl, manufactured in the USA by the Seaman Corporation. These materials are famous for their superior tear, puncture, and abrasion resistance.

Extreme Cold Crack Ratings

Our 13oz Shelter-Lite fabric features a nylon-based core rated at -67 degrees Fahrenheit cold crack, ensuring your tarps stay flexible during the most brutal winter hauls.

Reinforced Poly Webbing

We utilize 2-inch poly webbing available in multiple colors (Black, Burgundy, Silver, White, Pacific Blue, Purple, and Red) to customize your tarp’s appearance and strength.

Branding and Advertising

We can add your company logo, name, and phone number to the side of your tarps, providing a professional look and free branding for your business as you travel.

Why is the weight of a lumber tarp so important?

Lumber tarps are larger and heavier than steel tarps because they must cover the sides of high-stacked loads. Standard 18oz vinyl can be cumbersome to lift, but by incorporating weight-saving materials like Airbag Nylon sides, we reduce overall tarp weight by up to 25 lbs. Lighter tarps help minimize strain and fatigue for drivers during daily use.

What is the difference between Shelter-Rite and Shelter-Lite?

Shelter-Rite is a traditional high-durability vinyl-coated polyester, whereas Shelter-Lite uses a nylon-based fabric. The nylon base in Shelter-Lite allows it to achieve a much lower cold-crack rating (-67°F), making it the preferred choice for drivers operating in northern climates.

How do I prevent my lumber tarps from tearing on sharp corners?

Although our tarps are highly puncture-resistant, industry best practice is to place corner protectors or moving blankets over sharp edges before covering the load.
